Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Our Selfie Moments ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Our Selfie Moments.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Registration

To participate in events and submit photos, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. Each person may maintain only one account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Content Submission

By submitting a photo to Our Selfie Moments, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute, and publicly share your submission within event galleries and on our social media channels. This license is limited to the operation and promotion of the Service.

You confirm that any photo you submit is a selfie in which you are the only identifiable person. You retain full ownership of your original photos. We will never sell your photos or use them for purposes unrelated to the Service.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not submit content that:

• Is inappropriate, obscene, or sexually explicit
• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
• Contains harassment, threats, or hate speech
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity
• Is fake, manipulated, AI-generated, or otherwise not a genuine, unedited selfie
• Includes identifiable third parties without their consent

6. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, flag, and remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be inappropriate or harmful. Content may also be flagged by community members for review. Removal decisions are final.

7. Timestamp Verification

All submitted photos are verified using EXIF metadata, including the DateTimeOriginal field, to confirm they were captured within the designated event window. Photos that do not meet our verification standards — including those with missing, altered, or inconsistent EXIF data — may be rejected or removed from the gallery.

8. Intellectual Property

The Our Selfie Moments name, logo, brand identity, website design, and all associated software and content (excluding user-submitted photos) are the intellectual property of Our Selfie Moments. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited behavior, or if we determine that your use of the Service is harmful to other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Takedown Requests

If you believe that content on Our Selfie Moments infringes on your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a takedown request in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Please include a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the infringing material, and your contact information. Send all takedown requests to legal@ourselfiemoments.com.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Our Selfie Moments disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
